Personal Support Worker PSW

At RT Medical, we're committed to delivering exceptional care services that support our patients' and customers' health and wellness needs. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient-centered care and provides opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility support and assist with transfers.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, if needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs and health status.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Assist with medication reminders under supervision.
- Report any changes in residents' health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
- Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach.
- Ability to lift 50lbs independently and assist clients with standing, walking, and sitting.
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
- Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
