Inclusion Worker

Job Summary

The Inclusion Worker plays a vital role in providing high-quality early learning and care for children with diverse needs. They are responsible for coordinating developmental services, designing engaging activities tailored to each child's abilities, and serving as a bridge between children, parents, and other professionals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate in the development of Individual Plans (IPs) and ensure their effective implementation, promoting each child's growth and progress.
  • Foster children's physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development through interactive activities and individualized support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify children's needs and make appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Encourage a positive self-image and sense of confidence in each child, empowering them to reach their full potential.
  • Facilitate open communication between parents, staff members, and specialists, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child's well-being.
  • Maintain professional standards and actively participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Completion or enrollment in relevant educational programs.
  • Prior experience in a similar setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and safely evacuate children during emergencies.
