Job Title: Cleaner

Zida Academy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment.
  • Childcare Support: Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Emergency child care first aid and CPR.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, Vulnerable sector check, Medical exam, Immunization records.
  • Transportation: Own transportation, Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding.
