About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. As a key member of our Cyber Security program, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating information security risks in our high-complexity systems, particularly those related to cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cloud-focused agile teams to identify and address information security risks in cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and implement technical mitigation strategies to address identified security risks.
  • Provide expert support to various teams and stakeholders on security matters.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security and operations policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal system owners and external vendors to provide cyber security and risk management support.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with building secure cloud systems and environments.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and processes.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to quickly get up to speed on new technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for information security, information technology, and helping others.
