We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to work independently at one retail location, 17 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining sections, ensuring proper rotation, restocking, and distribution of all products.

About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and with attention to detail. You are well-organized, enjoy fast-paced work environments, and have a passion for building strong business relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Perform merchandising tasks at one or two retail stores
  • Maintain sections, including proper rotation, restocking, and ensuring distribution of all products
  • Address any out-of-stock issues
  • Secure additional/incremental off-shelf displays
  • Clean sections, ensuring equipment meets food safety requirements
  • Replace and/or repair fixtures as required and place POP materials, including shelf tags and signage
  • Place product orders and work with suppliers to ensure orders are placed
  • Promote special buying opportunities, displays, and new products
  • Perform any necessary POG changes and make recommendations to maximize sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department personnel and store management
  • Submit daily required visit reports/call reports
Qualifications and Requirements

Your home location should be within 5 KM of our retail store (by car preferred or public transport). You should be able to lift up to 35-45lbs, have previous merchandising experience, and have a smartphone and access to the internet.
