Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist to enhance our compliance department. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering advisory services and support across various customs compliance sectors while aiding in internal customs operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit B2 forms and refund requests to the appropriate authorities, track progress, and keep clients informed.
- Assist clients with the preparation of documentation, including classification, analysis, assessments, and tax-related inquiries.
- Invoice clients for the services rendered.
- Maintain and update the client product database and related systems.
- Support the department manager with special initiatives.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in customs brokerage is preferred.
- A college degree in International Transportation & Customs or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with Canadian customs regulations and trade processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
