About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Dakota Medical Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and patients.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and wash windows, interior walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies as required, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.

  • Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week.
