About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Econo Lodge Miramichi. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
