About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agronomy Field Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agronomy team, you will assist our agronomists in providing full-acre solutions to growers. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world situations, playing a vital part in helping farmers achieve their highest yields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection to provide recommendations on fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs.
- Interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to growers.
- Assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings to foster strong relationships with growers and internal teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Execute our culture of care and comply with all Nutrien Ag Solutions' and industry regulatory and EH&S standards.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year higher education degree program in Agriculture or a related field with a strong interest in agriculture.
- Must have a graduation date of December 2024 or later.
- Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license.
