About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Live-In Child Caregiver to join our team at Yaoxuan Li. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children.

Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Travel and Child Supervision: Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Clothing and Linen Care: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to ensure our children's needs are met.
  • Discipline and Social Development: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Record Keeping: Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding our children.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including conducting a criminal record check.
  • Activities and Errands: Organize activities such as games and outings for our children and take them to and from school and to appointments.
  • Academic Support: Help our children with homework and provide support in their academic endeavors.
  • Cooking: Prepare meals for our family.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
