Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Jason's Mobile Steam Ltd. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, loading and unloading goods, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics: Drive a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from the vehicle, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and securing loads as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgement, team player, hardworking, patience.
