About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team at Top Quality Plastics Ltd. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production specialists, to establish product requirements and specifications.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on design and development.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as engineering or design.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of design and development principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
