Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Stealth Recruiting Services. As a technical leader, you will oversee mechanical projects, provide design strategies, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and stamp mechanical projects of varying complexities
  • Lead design strategies and concept development
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to intermediate and junior engineers
  • Conduct audits, feasibility assessments, and investigations
  • Develop mechanical design standards and practices
  • Troubleshoot construction issues
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
  • Conduct site visits and construction phase services
Qualifications:
  • 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in building services
  • Engineering license in Ontario with at least 5 years of Canadian experience
  • Design experience with central plant systems (hot water, steam, chilled water)
  • Knowledge of DDC control systems and sequencing
  • Familiarity with OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE standards
  • Experience in multiple industries (commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
