About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team at RPM Trailer Repair Service Ltd. as a Commercial Transport Truck Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trailer repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Adjust and Repair Systems: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services on trailers and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately complete reports to record problems and work performed, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
