About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Supervisor to join our team at PG Classic Restoration Parts L PG Classic EN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our manufacturing facility and ensuring that all production activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and production schedules.
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of production staff, including machinists, labourers, and other support personnel.
    • Provide guidance and training to production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available to meet production demands.
    • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment.
    • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or business administration.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a high level of attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Language

The language of work is English.
