About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Mechanical Building Technician to join our team at GBi. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing technical plans for mechanical systems, including plumbing, regulation, ventilation, refrigeration, and heating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze technical plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design and prepare technical plans for mechanical systems, including calculations and equipment selection.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, such as electrical, architecture, and civil engineering, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Participate in cost estimation and budgeting for mechanical systems.
  • Verify and approve shop drawings submitted by contractors.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on mechanical system installations.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical Building Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical building technology.
  • Excellent proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of calculation software, such as TRACE and HAP.
  • Experience in healthcare or consulting engineering is an asset.
