Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our team at PeakMade Real Estate. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
  • Clean the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities, and other common areas on a daily basis, or as scheduled by the Manager.
  • Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
  • Provide courteous and efficient responses to resident and management requests, reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and basic numbers, with the ability to speak simple sentences.

Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks, including but not limited to installing outside air conditioning units. It also requires frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
