Pinnacle | Executive & Professional Search is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead a team in design, development, and implementation of software programs and applications for one of Canada's largest manufacturers of steel products and one of Manitoba's Top Employers.

Your Responsibilities as an Application Development Team Lead:- Manage application delivery of projects through development lifecycle: estimation, planning, execution, transfer, and sustainment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team on industry best practices, department standards, and technical skills.
- Lead the technical design and development of applications through hybrid Agile project lifecycles.
- Client server windows and web-based applications.
- Communicate effectively in all business relationships and through various levels of management and end-users in a clear and direct manner, providing a customer service-oriented experience to the organization.
- Manage project scope changes; develop change management strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years experience in Application Development with 3 to 5 years managerial experience.
- Proficiency in one or more coding languages (C#, VB.Net).
- Experience with web-based architectures and design practices such as ASP.Net,.Net Core, JS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of database design and queries, SQL (MS SQL Server 2014), DB2 (iSeries).
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills are a must, with a focus on gathering requirements and recommending solutions.
