Job Title: Bookkeeper

SRT Accounting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and perform various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate

  • Reliability
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
