Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of blasting services to clients, ensuring that their needs are met or surpassed, thereby fostering strong relationships that position BME Mining Canada as their preferred service provider.
- This role primarily focuses on BME Mining Canada's Surface Operations.
- Actively promote and uphold the visions and values of BME Mining Canada.
- Address customer requirements, contribute to blast design as necessary, and offer technical support regarding drilling and blasting methodologies.
- Ensure projects are executed safely and within designated timelines.
- Manage BME Mining Canada’s SHERQ programs effectively.
- Supervise the upkeep of operational equipment, vehicles, and assets, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement employee development initiatives, including onboarding and training programs.
- Formulate, develop, and enforce policies and procedures aimed at achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Efficiently manage inventory to maintain an appropriate range of products while monitoring orders, shipping, handling, and associated costs.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in mining operations, sales, or related fields, encompassing technical, business, and operational dimensions of the mining and/or explosives industry.
- Previous experience in mining operations management is advantageous.
- Proficient in data analysis.
- Strong background in people management and relationship development.
- Willingness to travel to remote client locations as required.
- Bilingualism is considered a valuable asset.
