Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
- Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure that they are meeting the high standards of our food service department.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Personal Qualities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
