We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of x-ray exams and procedures to ensure high-quality images and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, monitoring and adjusting equipment as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Conduct non-contrast CT examinations during after-hours and weekend shifts.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of departmental protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
- Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position and maintain a high level of productivity.
- A competitive hourly rate of $36.825 - $50.255.
- A temporary full-time opportunity with a duration of approximately 3 months.
