Job Title: Guest Service Associate

At Otter Co-op, we're seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Associate to join our team at the Brickyard Station Food Store in Surrey, BC. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and contributing to a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Balance cash tills accurately on a daily basis
  • Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Cashier is an asset
  • Lotto and/or Food Safe certification is an asset
  • Solid understanding of basic math skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a desire to provide a great shopping experience for every guest
  • Above-average communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, dedicated, and reliable
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to a SAFE work environment
  • Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Weekend availability and open availability to work a variety of shifts that include early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
