Job Summary

We are seeking a Labourer - Food Processing to join our team at Olymel s.e.c / l.p. As a Labourer - Food Processing, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials safely and efficiently.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Conduct quality checks on products and packaging, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated and wet/damp environment.
  • Fluency in French is required, as this is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Labourer - Food Processing, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial plant environment. You will be required to work in a team setting, following established protocols and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
