Position Overview

The role of a Visual Inspection Technician at SEN INSPECTION SERVICES LTD involves ensuring the highest standards of quality through meticulous inspections and testing.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors at various locations, which may involve travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tests to verify quality and identify defects.
  • Develop and implement NDI techniques and calibration standards.
  • Calibrate and interpret results from ultrasonic testing equipment.
  • Establish protocols for the thorough examination of inspected objects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide instruction and supervision to trainees.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports of test results.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Certifications Required
  • CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2.
Testing Methods and Equipment
  • Liquid penetrant testing.
  • Magnetic particle testing.
  • Visual inspection techniques.
  • Nondestructive testing methodologies.
Experience in Specific Areas
