Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Majhail Freightways Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, and inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset.
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime.
