Job Title: Registered Nurse - Mental Health

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our Mental Health department, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with addictions, psychiatric illness, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, intervention planning, and monitoring of patients
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure effective patient flow and admission/transfer processes
  • Provide input into and assist with patient care planning and coordination
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an acute mental health setting or equivalent experience in other areas of the mental health field
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Ability to apply clinical and critical thinking
