Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively within a team, including co-workers, supervisors, and management.
• Perform cleanup tasks utilizing shovels and/or small heavy machinery.
• Assist in maintenance inspections and activities, adhering to established procedures.
• Operate crushing and screening equipment as per training and instructions.
• Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Be adaptable as specific duties may vary based on operational needs.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in construction, mining, or heavy machinery operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A minimum of an Ontario high school diploma (OSSD) or equivalent is required.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as necessary.
• Physical capability to navigate the plant environment.
• Basic mechanical skills, including welding and fitting, are preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions are crucial.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
