We are a high-volume, fast-paced criminal defence firm seeking a licensed paralegal to provide administrative support in our Aurora, ON office.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist paralegals and lawyers with scheduling, emails, and correspondence with clients and courthouses
- Organize and review disclosure documents
- Provide support with court appearances, including detailed instructions, communication with clients, and calendar management
- Perform tasks such as mail merge, drafting court applications, and note-taking
- Graduate of a Paralegal Program and/or relevant legal program
- Experience working in a legal setting is an asset
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Interest in criminal defence or the criminal justice procedure
Candidates with a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team will be considered for this opportunity.
