We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Public Health department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dental health prevention and promotion services to communities and populations in Northern Health.
- Practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Develop and implement programs to promote oral health and prevent disease.
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment to clients, including children, youth, and families.
- Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals.
- Current registration and licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Province of British Columbia.
- Minimum one (1) year recent, related dental hygiene experience, including experience in a community health organization or the equivalent working with children, youth, and their families.
- Current valid BC driver's license and use of personal vehicle for business use.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
