Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Travelodge Bracebridge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Vacuum and mop floors, and clean carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and other amenities
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

Our housekeeping team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding role.
