Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Northern Grocery Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor Store Operations: Ensure all entrances and exits are secure, and request proof of payment when necessary.
- Work Environment: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including the stockroom and sales floor.
- Work Schedule: Work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, up to 40 hours per week.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
