About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Taxi Driver to join our team at 94 Cabs - Lacombe. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that our taxis are clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet and assist passengers, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise during the journey.
  • Operate Vehicles Safely: Drive our taxis in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Manage Transactions: Collect fares, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Assist Passengers with Special Needs: Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities, such as wheelchair accessibility and special transportation requirements.
  • Provide Basic Tourist Information: Offer information to passengers about local attractions, events, and services.
  • Work with a Team: Collaborate with other drivers and staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A minimum of a secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a taxi driver or in a related field is required.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
