Key Responsibilities- Lead the software development lifecycle from end to end, ensuring consistent and continuous progression.
- Make architectural decisions, balancing technical debt, extensibility, and short-term goals versus long-term goals.
- Oversee the development of web-based platforms, including LandScape, Foot Traffic Attribution, and EngageFront.
- Guide teams and products towards a seamless, integrated user experience by sharing code, knowledge, and design decisions.
- Find inefficiencies across teams and reduce work that reinvents the wheel.
- Uphold quality and consistency of code, testing, documentation, etc. across teams.
- Continuously automate processes to reduce the time from code to production.
- Assess technical risks associated with projects and take steps to mitigate them.
- Help manage prioritize technical tasks, including technical debt, ensuring that deadlines are met with high-quality results.
- Identify and bridge any gaps in communication, help resolve misunderstandings and assumptions, and help translate business goals into technical goals and vice versa.
- Mentor and support fellow developers, sharing your expertise and guiding them in solving technical challenges.
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining production web applications.
- 2+ years of experience in the ad tech or data analytics industry.
- Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity, guiding and inspiring team members to achieve technical and project goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in managing projects through the software development lifecycle, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
- Ability to align technical decisions with broader business goals and contribute to the development of a technical roadmap.
- Experience working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical solutions.
