Senior Hydrogeologist Role

WSP USA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Management team in British Columbia. As a key member of our team, you will lead the successful delivery of hydrogeological projects, authoring and overseeing deliverables for review to support project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams in the delivery of hydrogeological projects, ensuring quality and integrity in project work.
  • Develop and champion implementation of work procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Coordinate project planning and execution, monitoring performance and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Supervise WSP qualified subcontractors and coach field staff in the proficient use of technical equipment and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Geoscience or Engineering with a focus on Hydrogeology or equivalent degree from an accredited University.
  • Twelve (12) years of relevant experience in hydrogeology, with proficiency in project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling activities.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
