About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Repairer to join our team at TAVLEEN TRANSPORT LTD. as a Heavy Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our heavy equipment fleet by performing tire repairs and replacements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tire Repair and Replacement: Inspect and repair or replace tires on heavy equipment, including trucks and heavy machinery.
  • Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids as needed to ensure proper equipment function.
  • Support to Mechanics: Assist mechanics with tasks and perform other duties as directed to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Oil and Filter Changes: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of heavy equipment.
  • Greasing and Lubrication: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Installation and Repair: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators as needed.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site services to ensure timely and efficient equipment maintenance.
  • Installation Specialization: Develop expertise in installation specialization areas, including commercial vehicle wheels, exhaust systems, mufflers, radiators, shock absorbers, springs, and tires.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and handle equipment and materials weighing over 45 kg (100 lbs).
