- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
