Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, Day Shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the New Model Equipment Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with team members to develop and assess process plans and oversee equipment installation for new model introductions.
- Formulate process plans for welding and assembly operations for new model launches
- Coordinate and schedule the procurement of necessary equipment
- Manage project investments effectively
- Engage with external vendors and clients
- Prepare documentation and present findings to senior management
- Facilitate communication across all internal departments and with external partners
- Oversee equipment installation and implement optimal manufacturing processes
- Participate in hands-on startup development and evaluation of new equipment
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, or
- Technologist Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing processes, or
- Technician Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes
- Preferred experience in manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working hours
Work Environment:
- Combination of office and plant settings
- Potential exposure to dust, odors, noise, and other environmental factors
