Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Vijayani Vithanage. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
- Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- Shipping orders and picking orders and stock
- Weighing materials and goods
- Making labels and attaching to goods
- Providing customer service
- Wrapping goods
- Packing and unpacking goods
- Installing, lashing, and securing goods
- Storing cargo and materials
- Transporting and distributing materials and goods
- Organizing and maintaining inventory
- Organizing inventories using computerized inventory control systems
- 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
