Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled CFAA Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a CFAA Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems and devices. You will also be required to inspect installation sites, study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
Responsibilities- Test and inspect fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Inspect installation sites to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine installation procedures.
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Look for all levels of experience in fire alarm and security installation, service, and inspection.
- Follow local and national security standards.
- CFAA License
- Prior experience with fire alarm systems, monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems preferred.
- Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
- Ability and desire to learn all facets of the CFAA Technician role in fire alarm and security.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, stand prolonged periods of time, lift 35 lbs, and other requirements common to a CFAA Technician.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
