Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute product vision and strategy, balancing customer, business, and implementation perspectives.
- Customer Insights and Market Research: Gather insights from our existing customer base, internal stakeholders, and market trends to inform product direction.
- Product Delivery Planning: Create easily understood product delivery plans and requirements in collaboration with technical and design team members.
- Product Roadmap Execution: Drive implementation and execution of the team's roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Product Concept Development: Contribute and evaluate new product concepts for consideration in future roadmap plans.
- Product Launch Coordination: Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to coordinate successful product launches.
- Product Success Metrics: Define and report on product success, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive product adoption and growth.
- Product SME: Become the Product SME for the product offerings you own, providing expertise and guidance to the team.
- Proven Product Management Track Record: Successful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally within ecommerce, payments, and/or SaaS products.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving product vision, and executing product roadmaps in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Collaboration and Influence: Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A deep passion for enhancing user experiences through technology, with a customer-centric approach to solving problems and delivering value.
- Agile Product Development: Expertise in product management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles, as well as building and delivering high-quality software on time.
- Product Success Metrics: A solid understanding of setting, measuring, and improving product success metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Familiarity working in parallel with multiple squads across different time-zones.
- Client Discovery and Solutioning: Ability to lead client discovery, solutioning, and alignment conversations.
- Product Strategy Development: Understanding of product strategy development and roadmapping tools.
- MBA: MBA or equivalent experience.
- Industry Expertise: Understanding of payments, ecommerce, invoicing, and other products critical in retail merchant workflows.
- Retail and E-commerce Experience: Retail and ecommerce industry experience.
