Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a safe and organized manner, including adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that warehouse operations are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance, including metrics such as inventory levels, shipping times, and employee productivity.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that warehouse operations are running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Certifications in forklift operation or other relevant areas.
