Job Title: Flooring Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Flooring Supervisor to join our team at Renodiz Flooring &Design Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Flooring Supervisor will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and recruiting and hiring workers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be proficient in CADD and other computer software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and estimate projects
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on the job site
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Prepare sketches and models to communicate project ideas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors in various locations
  • Work in a noisy and dusty environment
