Position Overview:

The CISSS de l'Outaouais is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Interim Head of Cancer, Hematology, and Oncology Services within the Nursing Care Directorate.

Our organization encompasses approximately 12 staff members across 71 facilities in the Outaouais region, managing an operational budget of around 1.2 billion dollars.

Our mission is to enhance, sustain, and restore the health and well-being of the Outaouais population by providing access to a comprehensive range of integrated and high-quality health and social services, thereby contributing to the region's social and economic development.


The experience of our patients (clients) and the responsibility towards the population will be central to all processes aimed at improving access, continuity, and service flow.

Under the guidance of the Clinical-Administrative Coordinator in Gatineau, the individual in this role will provide leadership amidst significant transformation and ongoing improvement in accordance with ministerial directives and expected outcomes.


The management of these sectors will focus on adhering to quality and safety standards while emphasizing prudent financial management.

The service operates in a co-management framework alongside the medical lead.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, implementing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the action plan and service offerings, as well as supervising, supporting, and valuing the staff under their leadership.

The role ensures effective management of human, financial, material, and informational resources, guided by relevant performance indicators.

As a manager within a public institution, accountability for management practices is required both internally and externally, with an expectation of transparency at all times.

Qualifications:
