Job Summary

Vancouver Cloth House LTD is seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Negotiation and Procurement: Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Merchandise Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Product Sourcing: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Market Research: Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
