We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Logistics Specialist to join our team at Craftsman Collision. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing parts, maintaining a well-organized parts room, and ensuring accurate inventory management. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Support management in aligning shop operations with our company's standards and procedures;
  • Utilize our company's dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks;
  • Participate in daily production meetings to ensure seamless communication and collaboration;
  • Receive and mirror-match parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan;
  • Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and vendors;
  • Use our company's management system to enter parts and sublet invoices, and confirm margins;
  • Maintain and organize parts carts, staging areas, and parts room in accordance with our company's standards;
  • Update parts cart tags to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management;
  • Deliver parts to stakeholders as required;
  • Ensure returns are completed prior to file closure;
  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure compliance with all provincial and national regulatory standards;
  • Contribute to the goal of closing all files within 24 hours of vehicle delivery;
  • Support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security;
  • Represent and promote the Craftsman Collision brand in a positive manner aligned with our stated values in all dealings;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is an asset;
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills;
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
  • Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude;
  • Proficient in Outlook with the ability and willingness to learn new applications;
  • Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development;
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years;
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
