About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storing, and delivery of products to various locations within our stadium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing an efficient warehouse operation that meets operational demands and targets.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and on time, as directed by management.
  • Supervise warehouse porters in storing and rotating incoming supplies in accordance with our company's standards.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Communicate product discrepancies with management.
  • Train employees in warehouse duties and procedures.
  • Accurately count inventory as required.
  • Resolve warehouse issues and report hazards to management.
  • Ensure staff comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a large warehouse setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Forklift license.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to delegate tasks.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to finger and handle controls, reaching with hands and arms, standing, walking, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
