About the Role:The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care as the Most Responsible Physician, managing all aspects of patient care, including work-up, referrals, discharge planning, and liaison with community primary care providers.
The Hospitalist will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing care to patients presenting to the hospital requiring inpatient admission who do not have a physician with admitting privileges.
About the Facility:Brandon Regional Health Centre is a fully accredited multi-specialty facility with 313 beds, a moderate-volume ER, and a 10-bed ICU. The facility offers a wide range of diagnostic services, including Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine.
The hospital is also a satellite campus for the University of Manitoba and the Rady Faculty of Medicine, providing opportunities for teaching and mentoring medical learners.
About the Community:Brandon is the second-largest city in Manitoba, with a population of 55,000 and growing. The city offers a wide range of education options, including Assiniboine Community College, Robertson College, and the Manitoba Emergency Services College.
