Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the execution of menu item production, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to a positive and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present menu items in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to standardized recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure the mise en place of foods, garnishes, sauces, and other products is accurate and complete, supporting high-volume production.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Receive and store stock, labeling and dating items as required, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Assist with month-end inventories and attend culinary meetings as directed.
  • Liaise with operational departments and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma; Culinary education an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience.
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Serving it Right certification (SIR).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
