About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at RONA+. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Keep all checkout workstations clean and organized, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and colleagues
  • Create and balance cash reports at the end of each shift, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies
  • Ensure compliance with loss prevention and health and safety procedures, promoting a culture of safety and security within the store
  • Perform other related tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the store
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods, with occasional outdoor work
  • Experience with cash register systems an asset
